Multi-Currency Support

Multi-Currency Support

Overview

Multi-currency support lets your calculator display prices in your customer's local currency. Calculator AI works with Shopify Markets, so currency conversion happens automatically based on the market rules you've configured in Shopify — no additional setup is needed inside Calculator AI. You can view the multi-currency status in Calculator Editor → Optional Features → Multi-currency.

How It Works

  1. Multi-currency is automatically active when your Shopify store has Shopify Markets configured with multiple currencies.
  2. When a customer visits your store from a region mapped to a different currency, Calculator AI converts all prices using the Shopify Markets conversion rate and any catalog price adjustments you've set.
  3. The price summary, option prices, fees, and totals all reflect the converted currency in real time.

No configuration is needed inside Calculator AI. All currency and market settings are managed through Shopify Admin → Settings → Markets.

  • Global store with 5 markets — Each market has its own currency. Calculator AI automatically shows CAD in Canada, GBP in the UK, AUD in Australia, and so on — with no per-calculator configuration.
