Publishing a Calculator

Publishing a Calculator

Overview

Publishing makes your calculator visible to customers on your storefront. Until you publish, any changes you make exist only as a draft that you can preview inside the editor. Each time you publish, a new numbered version is created so you have a history to fall back on. The Publish button and live/not-live status badge are in the header bar at the top of the calculator editor.

Steps

  1. Publish a new version — Click the Publish vN button in the header (where N is the next version number). Your current draft becomes the live version that customers see.
  2. Check the status badge — The badge next to the calculator name shows Live (green) when the calculator is active on your store, or Not live when it is hidden.
  3. Toggle live status — Click the status badge to switch the calculator between live and not-live. Turning a calculator to Not live hides it from customers without deleting any configuration.
  4. Continue editing after publishing — After publishing, the editor keeps your draft open. Any further changes you make are draft-only until you publish again.
